active reading and remembering strategies.
4 steps of active reading previewing, Annotating, Reading with concentration and Reviewing and these all are very helpful to strengthen your reading and remembering skills.
1- previewing: by previewing you develop the purpose of reading. and the purpose of previewing is to get a picture and to know the principal purpose and idea and how they attach to what you already understand or know or learned.
2- Annotating: this is the key part of active reading because annotating develop focus and concentration
3- Reading with concentration: find a place like a library means finding a quiet distraction-free place to read where you read with no disturbance and read in a block and always take a small break.
4- Reviewing: take a short revision of what you studied look at your notes and questions and practice this daily.
by practising this step in a routine makes you a very good remembering skills person.
2- Derive examples that relate to your own experiences and Create concept maps or diagrams that explain the material and the most important thing is a daily revision of what you studied in a class by following 4 steps and following these 2 strategies is very helpful for active reading and remembering strategies.
