What are some strategies to control the shortage of hand-sanitizer in COVID-19 pandemic and how do they impact consumer and disease control?
There are some strategies to control the shortage of hand sanitizer which are as follows
1) first come from the supply side where encourage other industries which are not functional due to the lockdown to produce high amounts of hand sanitizer and due to economies of scale to cost can be kept in check and also provide incentives for the ones providing hand sanitizer such as tax benefits
2) second from the demand side keep a quotaof purchase by the people where a person can take a maximum of 2 bottles of hand sanitizer so that there would be no panic buying in this case which can lead to shortage
3) asking the companies who produce hand sanitizer to stop the production of all other products in their industry and go on with sanitizer production only.
so as far is the disease control is concerned many people will have sanitizers so that more amount of sanitization and cleanliness can be adopted with which the wipe out of this is possible more Quicker on the whole
