the methods Sustainable unfired bricks manufacturing from construction and demolition wastes
* Now a days demolition of old buildings, bridges etc. are trending and construction of new and advanced structures equipped with modern facilities are taking place.
* These demolition wastes are a major solid waste which creates pollution and if it will not be utilised it will be a problem of disposal of these wastes.
* So now a days construction and demolition wastes are utilised to prepare unfired bricks.
* The manufacturing of these bricks reduces the dependability on clay which prevents the loss of fertile land used for agriculture and also prevents the pollution created by burning kilns.
* These bricks are composed of construction and demolition wastes, ordinary Portland cement, fly ash.
* These ingredients like opc and fly ash are purchased from market and demolition wastes are available from construction site.
* The bricks manufactured with cement is called C type brick while bricks manufactured with fly ash is called f type bricks.
* C type bricks have compressive strength to the almost equivalent to that of clay bricks and weight is also in that range.
* F type brick reduces the water absorption of bricks which prevents dampness and other problems.
Thus these bricks are sustainable and healthier for environment.
