Empowered employees having certain degree of responsibility and autonomy which helps in the decision-making process of the company.

The characteristics of the empowered employees are

  1. Trust
  2. Involve in decision making
  3. Building corporation
  4. Mutual Respect

Trust is utmost important characteristic as without trust no relationship would be developed. The employees have to behave in such a way that everyone should trust. The trust is the inner most capability of the employee which is developed over time. For example, if the employee is working with the company say X then he has the liability that not to disclose the essentials of the company to any other or outsider. The employee has been liable to behave in the particular manner.

Involve in decision making is the capability of individual to involve in the process of decision making while any meeting occurs in the company. This shows the involvement of the employee towards its business or work. Most of the employees in the company would not take part in decision making or they hardly express their perspective. If they would not participate in the process then they may lag behind in the performance or been overlooked. They have to behave in the way that their perspective should be involved.

Building corporation is the characteristics of the employee who leads the team. The leader of the team has the utmost responsibility to take care of the team. He has to build the relationships first than after he has to develop the corporation. But if he is not always involved in the task he may not take the team lead.

Mutual respect is the inner most feeling or respect of individual by the other employees. Each employee is essential in the team weather he has different set of qualities or not. Everyone is unique in the team. The employee has to respect other so as he would get back the same respect from the other employee.
