Esther had a family where her father used her for his sexual pleasures and Esther who was affected by the hormonal disorder which caused Dwarfism on her believed that the sexual relationship with her father was normal. She definitely seems to have a parenting problem here which changed her life thereafter as a sex addict and a serial killer.

She poses some social problems which is seen from her craving for relationships and her inferiority complex of presenting herself naturally. She conceals her real self and projects her a small girl which she used for escaping from the police when she was involved in prostitution.

She had problem in living as a normal person, so, she started sleeping with rich people for money. She was out on the road sleeping with everyone.

She also had problem in living in a family as a normal person because of her sexual advancement on the men in the family. She thus failed to form any relationship with anyone throughout her life in the movie until her death.
