* These metals come under the category of heavy metals as their atomic weight is high and density is also very compared to water.

* According United States Environmental Protection Agency these metals are the main among causing human carcinogens.

* These metals are found in earth nature in very trace amount and are also generated by anthropogenic activities like mining, pharmaceutical industry is in medicine preparation, insecticides, pesticides, algicides etc. Which when exposed causes damage to our organs and health.

* Their exposure depends on age, nutrition, gender, genetics etc. Of the exposed person.

ARSENIC

* SOURCE - volcanic eruption, soil erosion and anthropogenic activities.

* Effects on human health - diabetes, hearing loss, cancer, black foot disease, cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, renal, respiratory and gastro intestinal disorders etc.

CADMIUM

* SOURCE - sedimentary rocks and marine phosphates, earth crust, industrial activities etc.

Effects on human health - causes itai- itai disease, kidney effects and carcinogenic effects etc.
