Suppose you wanted to study the effects of exercise on mood—which of the methods (experiment, case study, naturalistic observation, or survey) might you select and why? How would you conduct the study?

Solutions

Expert Solution

I would select the experimental method as it gives me a relationship between exercise and mood. The study would be matched sample type in which a randomly selected sample would be divided into two groups. the control group will get an alternative therapy and exeprimental group will experience exercises. Also the mood will be measured and noted down before the test. After the test mood will be measured and the average impact on both the groups will be studied and compared to each other for the result .
