Scientific means based on or characterized by the methods and principles of science. On the other hand, evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth. When we are studying about evolution, every bit of data that we study is an accumulation of lots of scientific study coming together. The study of evolution uses help of geology, botany, anatomy, zoology, archaeology , palaeontology , chemistry, biochemistry and even microbiology to compile the data. Many geologist help us with the kind of environment that might have been there. Botany helps us with the taxonomy of the plants and identify their evolution. Zoology helps us with the evolution tracing of animals. Archaeology helps us in discovering the extinct organisms and helping with the fossils etc. So in such a case it becomes quite clear that there are a lot of sciences behind the study of evolution and therefore it can be concluded as scientific.
