Sellen (2009) Reflecting
human values:
- As we know that, the field of Human
Computer Interaction (HCI) introduced before more than 25 years
ago.
- The main aim of HCI is to
understand the interface between computers and humans being.
- As per the Sellen (2009) the HCI
have been involving the human values and experience in the digital
era of user interface design.
- For example, in modern cars there
are many computing devices in engines, but driver interact only
with the car and not with the invisible computing devices.
- So that, it requires cognitive
science to interface between the human and computing devices which
is called as Human Computer Interaction (HCI).
Marcus (2002) Dare concept
of user-inter-design:
- User-interface-design means to
provide the facility for communication between human being and an
artifact computing device.
- An artifact is any computing device
that interface with human being and perform communication in the
way of input, interactive activity and output.
- Marcus upgrade the concept of
user-interface-design as Sixth-Sense, using this the interface is
nowhere, everywhere, momentarily and anytime depending on the
action and movement.
- For example suppose as a human
being using his/her eyes can capture any side of pictures. In this
it requires the cognitive science that includes the interface
between human eyes and computing devices that will help to get the
digital pictures.
