· Shared leadership
In shared leadership, the leadership responsibility is distributed among the team members to achieve the common goal. The tasks are shared within the team depending on individual skill sets. The other options are wrong. In the servant leadership style, the leader puts the needs of the employees before self and helps them to improve and perform at a high level. In lateral leadership, everyone has leadership responsibilities towards others. Even an employee can lead the boss.
· Motivators
According to Herzberg’s Motivation Theory, motivating factors such as the nature of the job, responsibilities, personal growth and recognition, drive employees to perform better. Motivating factors are found within the actual job. The other factor is hygiene factors, which are not concerned with the actual job, but around the job. Examples are company policies, work conditions, relationships, etc.
· It sensitizes managers to the process and importance of employee growth and productivity
According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, lower level needs must be satisfied before higher level needs. People are motivated when the needs are met. There are five levels or sets of needs.
