“Imperialism refers to an imbalance of power in the political sphere, usually among nations. It happens when a stronger nation takes over a weaker one and seeks to gain control of its people, economy and culture.”

When you look at the effects on Africa, it is hard to believe that there was a benefit for its native people. When countries with overcrowding sent their citizens to Africa to colonize, the ultimately imposed their religion, culture and social norms on the native people. While some may say that the colonies development led to more structure it took away the rights of the African people and they were left with little control over their lives.
Countries with overcrowding and limited resources for their citizens moved large numbers of them to Africa, spreading their religion, education, social norms and cultures to that continent. African lands were divided into bureaucratic systems run through indirect rule. While this led to more structure, it left Europeans dictating all aspects of Africans' lives and left very little to their control.
The exploitation of natural resources was another negative effect of the colonization of Africa. In an effort to compete with other nations for economic dominance ( ), European nations expanded their control over African colonies. Local governments were controlled by the Europeans leading to a subordinate group of native people.

We are living in the world of Globalization , liberalisation, .but still we are not find necessary international understanding and brotherhood among many nationas.Imperalism massively dominant in the world .The stronge nation became more stronger due to misuse of their immence power and poor nation are gradually victimized.if we have look globally, then we can see america dominant all over the world with the impact of imparialiim.because Americans have have more power, wealth, and weapon and takes over on weaker nation.they are infulenced the weaker nation with their own culture, thought, and controll them in their own hand .similar things happen with africa.when countries have over crowded then sent to the Africa for colonize., because Africa is place where every suitable resources is available.This out sided people imposed their own religions on native african people .colonies took away right of people on their own lives.the countries which have over crowded and limited resources are shifted to Africa with infulenced of power and spreading their own ideology in prespctive of religion , social , culture and education.Today Africa condition so miserable only for crucial impact of colonization.Erupion people ruthlessly and brutally dominant the africa native.The continent of Africa are devided beuracatic system.and exploitation of natural resources is another harmful impact of colonization.Today world are controlled by Erupeon content . Colonization of Africa is another example of it .If world people are still not concious and not stand for their own right, justice then one day democratic political will demolished and there will Autocracy in political system.
