Discuss how Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards are being designed to present as much or as little information as required in any number of presentations from data visualizations to straight tables and pivot tables?
Also consider whether we should group dashboards and when we should and should not group these dashboards of information? Support your ideas with examples.
Business intelligence dashboards are enhanced view of the conventional reports that we're published by organizations previously. The dashboards are a better view which provides various additional options as well which makes the older version of the report looks better and effective as well. The concept is very clear, the dasuboard backend allow developers to create a temporary table known as cube and the cube possess data only which is to be displayed in the dashboard and based on this concept information can be protected by the dashboard reports.
I have been employed in an insurance organization based out of milwaukee and our organization group dasuboards based on the requirement for example if detail of a financial representative or employee is required to be displayed the dashboards are not grouped and when there is a requirement for a consolidated summary of all the employees or a group of employees is required then we need to group the dashboards. Our organization award employees at the end of the financial year based on their performance and in such a situation the dashboards need to be grouped.
