People here spend money trying to counter baldness while people in other countries are starving to death. On the other hand, foreign aid may be distributed as political favors rather than going to those most in need. Should the U.S. work on achieving the Millennium Aid goal for contributions to increase the U.S. contribution to 0.7% of its GDP or help countries that are starving? I was thinking about Persistent poverty, Economic growth, Human Capital but it seems that it does not fit on both sides.
In developing and mostly in underdeveloped countries there is persistent poverty. In many parts of Africa people are unable to earn $1 per day, they don't get enough food to eat, education is very poor. They can't afford good education, there are also people who don't get safe drinking water. America as the most developed country should contribute to alleviate poverty and be responsible for the growth of the nations.
The developed countries like US should develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the reduction of extreme global poverty. Infact, the huge amount of foreign direct investment is coming from US which is a great help for the developing countries. Also in receiving the exports, US is the number one in the world. Inspite of huge donations by US and other developed countries there is widespread disappointment with the progress of alleviation of poverty.
There are many global meets and assemblies to handle many global
issues like poverty, education, peace and security. Many developed
countries participate and contribute million dollars for the growth
and development of the developing countries.
Us should act towards lifting the economy because without economic
growth there will be deficiency in resources to support the growth
of the citizens. In addition to providing aid to developing
nations, US should focus on economic growth. However, the developing
countries should try to improve their situations on their own along
with the aid of developed nations. They should go for good
governance, strong outlook, determination and hard work which are
the key factors to improve a country's situation.
Human capital should be used in the best possible manner to get optimum benefit out of it. Developed countries should give importance to strengthening human capital of a country so that they can better off their situation. Human capital is one of the most crucial resources of a country, it should be developed and utilized in an effective manner.
