Answer-1- Opioids are medications that are sometimes prescribed by a doctor to reduce pain. These are generally used for headaches, surgeries etc. Opioids include drugs such as Codeine, Hydrocodone, Morphine and Oxymorphone. It also consists an illegal drug known as Heroine which is illegally sold without any prescription. Surveys suggest that young people are the biggest abusers of opioid. They consume it for many reasons, for example- to get instant energy or to relieve pain immediately. The side effects of these drugs are very dangerous and may lead to death. Many young people are dying every year due to the misuse of opioid drugs.
It is very important to use opioid for medical purposes only. It should be consumed according to the doctor's advice. The higher doses may lead to slow breathing and even death.
Answer-2- The opioid epidemic is quite different from previous drug crisis in the United States because a large number of people are dying daily due to drug abuse in the country. The opioid abuse have controlled the young generation completely, both male and female, all races and social groups of the nation.
