ANS- When the offender is known than the responding patrol officers need to know the level and nature of the connection between the victim and the offender like their relationship, how they know each other, the type of contact, the intensity of their relationship, detailed information about the assault, physical injuries on the body of the victim. When the offender is unknown than the responding officers need to know the information of the offender like how he approached, the method of control, the type of force he used, resistance by the victim, sexual dysfunctioning, type of act, communication done by the offender, change in the attitude of the offender, things that are taken by the offender. The primary responsibilities of the responding officers are as follows:- attending the victim, they need to be careful not to defame the victim, preservation of evidence that can be collected from the victim, securing the crime scene, protecting the crime scene, contacting the local rape crisis center.
