The national notifiable disease surveillance system of CDC monitor the disease, study the risk factors and provide prevention and control efforts. They have the surveillance system for collection, analysis and sharing of health data. They also includes policies, laws, electronic messaging, IT systems and resources at different levels.
They report to health departments. The health department work with laboratories, hospitals.
Their strengths are : They have technical and training resources to provide guidance, tools and help for notification messages. Thay developed softwares for processing data. They provide webinar series for training.
The gap arises between the countries and their social media protective policies are the main reason behind the gap. This gap is responsible for the the spreading of many diseases before they got reported due to this gap.
To ensure the proper managing of such diseases, the WHO should take regular surveillance and data from all the countries without any obstruction and can do their survey when needed.
