Answer
Having several subcultures in an organization cn be beneficial as it will create more unity amongst the employees. The sharing of information, delicacies, language etc. of different subcultures can help employees to get along with each other really soon. The new comers won't feel lonely in such an organization. Also, each one would get to learn something or the other from their fellow colleagues. The organization would mostly be in high spirits and very cheerful as everybody would be inclusive and respect others.
On the other hand, having too many subcultures under the same roof can create fights and conflicts amongst the employees too, if not managed properly. There could be sub-groups formed which might prefer not to mingle with other sub-groups. The work of the HR Department might increase towards bringing everybody, having different ways of lifestyle and thinking, on the same page. Also, there may be issues in terms of communication. This is because different subcultures would have their own styles and ways of communication, which can act as barriers in trasmission of correct information.
