Unit 3 Journal Prompt
One of the ways that informal writing if often used is in communicating thoughts, concerns, ideas, and goals to others. In this Journal, imagine that a friend, family member, or personal acquaintance is thinking about returning to school to further his or her education or training.
Write either an email or letter to this friend, encouraging him or her to return to school. Use your own personal experience to motivate and show the friend how he or she can face the challenges that college might bring. Also offer suggestions related to time management and setting goals.
A Thumbs Up! Would be really helpful for me. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dear August,
For a very long time, I haven't heard anything from you. I am good here, and I hope you are too. Our school is going on pretty well and everybody misses you. Everyone wishes you were here- making memories with all of us in this school.
So, I want you to do patiently listen to everything I am telling you. School is a very important aspect of everyone's life. Without gaining knowledge, one cannot earn respect and money that he requires to live peacefully in society. It helps us to understand the meaning of life and how to live it. It is the place where we make friends which would last forever. The school helps us to gain a lot of patience, courtesy, timeliness, teamwork, etc. Without going to school, one cannot achieve heights in his life. In my personal experience, I faced a lot of problems in my college. I failed in Mathematics twice and it made me lose my confidence. But I was patient and hardworking- that's what I was taught to become when I was in school. In the next exam, I scored very good grades because of my hard work. You should also never give up in life, you will achieve anything you desire of. I hope after reading this letter you will return to school.
Hope to see you soon!
Jane.
