32. The answer is - B. Telomeres.

Long term changes related to extended time in space affects the length of telomeres. Telomeres are the caps that protect the ends DNA strand. On earth, these telomeres gets depleted as the person age die to DNA replication process. A study conducted on the twin brothers showed that telomere of the brother who was in space showed the telomere length the same as preflight levels while his brother who was in earth showed decreased length of telomere.

38. The answer is - False.

Transfer of information from human brain to computer is whole brain emulation or brain upload is futuristic process which is yet to be developed.

39. The answer is - true.

The Brain Preservation Foundation is an American non profit organisation that preserves brain in order to research with the hope of recovering the encoded memories.

40. The answer is - A . Loss of white matter.

By the age of 60, the white matter in the brain starts degenerating which is termed as white Matter disease. This is common age related change in the nervous system.

42. The answer is - A . Hypertension.

Changes in cardiac muscle in Martian humans causes overload on heart causing hypertension which inturn causes other cardiac related problems.

Thank you.

Unfavorable changes with time and due to various metabolic processes in body composition have long been observed with aging. Loss of lean mass (LM) and accumulation of abdominal fat are most important changes that continuously take place in all adults and individuals as they age. All these events have been found to be associated with an increased risk of the development of type 2 diabetes in older adults. This is of high importance from a public health perspective where aging...

During long space missions, astronauts can lose between 1-2% of their bone mass per month, due to the lack of mechanical stress that occurs in a low-gravity environment. If an astronaut is in space for 6 months, he/she could lose over 1/10 of their total bone mass. Explain what is occurring in an astronaut’s bones during his/her time in space .
