Do Hackers Really Matter? What are the advantages and disadvantages, from a cost perspective, of deciding that attempts to secure an organization’s network are not worth the increased cost?
Yes,
Hackers really matters a lot.
It is because once our system is being hacked then the organization need to suffer a lot because it will lose all its confidential information. Once it is published organization needs to cope up itself from the bottom level to face the competition.
For example we can take trade secrets of business which is very confidential matters when they are hacked then it is no more confidential, competitors will surely take advantage of it which will affect the organization functionality.
Also loosing the data which we save from years to years when it is being hacked the whole work process will get disturbed the organization will fall in dilemma of where to the work flow and also regaining the same is a matter of doubt which may result in lot of time waste and money.
So, Organization started to bring hackers to their system and its functioning asking them to hack the system in order to know all the loop holes. There by it will help them to protect the system against the hackers from outside. Although it is costly affair the management is more key in protecting their system against the hackers because once the system is hacked it cost much more both financially and functionally.
