locus of control: it is a psychological concept which means hoe people strongly believe they have control in any condition and situation and experiences that affect their lives. People who base their success on their own work and believe that they control their life is known as internal locus of control. and people who believe that their successes or failures result from external factors beyond their control is known as external locus of control.
some study address that locus of control is associated with psychological well-being. but the result of there studies suggests that internal locus of control and external locus of control both have a unique relationship to psychological with well-being. and Separating the Measurement of Internal and External Constructs and internal locus of control was associated with lower levels of anxiety and depression, and higher levels of self-esteem and life satisfaction than externals.
