In its present state, IDEA 2004 has undergone several revisions since introduced as PL 92-142. As a group, discuss these revisions and their current impact on the educational system servicing SPED students now.

PL92-142 is a public law which includes the following:

IDEA have developed few objectives for the development of the disabled children in society like:

• Collaboration among the local, national and federal agencies to work together for their upliftment in society.

• Training of the disabled children to provide them jobs in society.
• development of their family life and culture.
• The example includes the development of the Juniper garden children project at the university of kansas to provide necessary education and orientation for their survival in society.
• Active parent participation is required in the programs for the development of their disabled child.
• Financial resources and clothing should be provided to the disabled children who are deaf, blind, dumb, or suffering from autism disorders.
• they should be carefully treated and cared in society.
• they should be provided awareness regarding the importance of jobs and education in life.
• training camps are set in the rural areas where there are no facilities for the development of these children in society.
