First, among asexually reproducing species, what main mechanism produces genetic changes from one generation to the next, and how does this mechanism do so? Next, describe in detail three main mechanisms that produce genetic diversity among sexually reproducing species, placing emphasis on how two mechanisms in meiosis do so. Lastly, most eukaryotic organisms reproduce sexually. What is a survival benefit(s) of this mode of reproduction?

Mutation is the only mechanism to get new genetic information in asexually reproducing organisms. This mechanism is basically the change that occurs in the DNA sequence of such organisms either due to mistakes when the DNA is copied or as a result of environmental factors such as UV light.
The three mechanism that produces genetic diversity in sexual reproduction are:-
Crossing over- this happens on in the early process of meiosis. Homologous chromosomes pair up and exchange part with each other this is known as crossing over. Homologous chromosome have the same gene in the same location and only pair with each other each chromosome is a pair can have the same jeans or slightly different from of the same gene then the line up side by side and break of pieces of themselves and three doors pieces with each other crossing over is the first way that jeans are shuffled in sexual reproduction to produce Genetic diversity.
independent assortment - this is the second way that sexual reproduction meiosis to be more exact shuffle jeans for more Genetic diversity . each chromosome in a pair can have slightly different versions of the same gene . independent assortment is the process in which each homologus chromosome in a pair goes into separate Gamete . Thus, each gamete has only one copy of each green and that copy may be a different version of the same gene that is in another gamete.
Gamete fusion- The Third way that sexual reproduction provides greater Genetic diversity than asexual reproduction is through the process of fertilisation or the meat fusion the meat contain only half the amount of DNA of a normal cell , so two gametes must fuse to form a new cell that will develop into a new organism different individuals may have different versions of the same jeans which is why people generally look different from each other so the Gametes from those individuals will have fun version of each commit when two gametes Fuse the form and individual with a unique combination of jeans this is why children look similar to their parents and can have features that came from one parent get other features that came from the other parents
Mostly eukaryotes reproduce sexually the Genetic diversity of sexually produced offspring is thought to give species a better chance of surviving in an unpredictable or changing environment.
