Are mobile apps the future of online learning? Why or why not?

In my view, mobile apps are playing a vital role in education sector and seem to be the future of online learning by having many pros such as – student can access study material through their smartphones from anywhere; helps them to search required data online and reduces the opportunities to go the library; this inculcate many activities for student to get engage in learning by having innovative ways and helps the student to focus in subject based learning and develop different perspective; this helps in maintaining the parent-teacher relationship with the transparent data record sharing about the student and a great deal of communication; this also offer forums to the students to discuss about their difficulty facing in certain concepts ; segregation of the study material over web offers ease to student; equal attention by the institution and make it possible for them to communicate with the students about the various school activities through mobile apps.
