Can global brands create a just and fair supply chain system?
Take a position and defend it. (You may take into account - recent political uphevals in the USA into account, by considering the question of of "fairness to whom"? That is to say, whom do the supply chains benefit the most?)
Being just and fair in international environment is relatively very tough for any International organisations. Reading each and every supply chain part at International environment is not possible due to the cultural as well as political and legal changes across different cultures and regions. Most of the time these organisations are more likely to operate in multicultural environment where available of just and fair practices is very likely possible. Greeting each and every Organisation in the respective environment from the same perspective can create a huge difference in Operation as well as profit generation from the respective environment.
For an example, organisation operating in United States of America and similarity operating in saudi Arabia can have two different taxes implemented on them that directly leave them to change their policies accordingly, diminishing the idea of being just and fear.
Implementing the supply chain management on the basis of availability of fare opportunities of grating suppliers inside any specific workplace or location would be the most appropriate way of implementing the specific structure of operation in respective environment to create a just and fair supply chain system. As most of the suppliers in international market vary their prices and structure of operation remaining just and there is practically not possible in international environment.
