Few of the consequences of having two separate high courts are as
follows:
- Because of having two high courts separation of cases are
mainatined properly and judges can be appointed based on their
speciality.
- As two separate courts are there civil cases which are lighter
in nature won't need to wait a lot to get hearing dates and will be
processed faster.
- Separate kidn of law and punishment can be mainatined as we
have separate courts to handle it.
- One of the downside of having two courts are redundant jobs
will be created which can eat up tax payers money.
- Sometime cases which seems to fall under civil boundary gets
converted to criminal boundary, in this case it has to be fought
separately at two places which is inefficient.
- If a person is charged with both criminal and civil offense for
same crime he/she has to higher two lawyers and all to handle this
case. Which is inefficient.
