a) fire

b) lightning

c) specified types of explosions

d) falling objects

Solutions

Expert Solution

Damage caused by fire is covered under fire insurance.

But there are certain specified type of explosions which are generally excluded from fire insurance.

For example any malicious act done with deliberate intention like burglary or theft or even damages from war or nuclear explosion are not covered under fire insurance generally.

Among the above options fire is always covered from fire insurance policy.

Lightning and falling objects maybe covered under fire policy as long as it's not a malicious intentional act.

The option C specified type of explosions is usually excluded in fire insurance policy

So answer is option C
