There can be two type of performance measure indicators in an education institution.

  • Financial performance measures
  • Non financial performance measures

Two key financial performance measures:

1. tuition fees:

The tuition fees, an educational institution charge from its student , is a key source of its revenues .

the larger admission rate of an education institution has, the better is the tuition fees revenue.

This tution fees revenue is the key financial performance measure for the institution.

2. Grants received :

Educational institution receives various kind of donations and grants from Government , other organisations and outsidres .

this is also a major source of it's revenue and performance indicator for the institution.

Four Key non financial performance measures:

1. number of admissions:

The number of applications for admissions a educational Institution gets , is an indicator of its popularity among parents and students.

and is a key indicator of its performance in past years.

2. Awards recieved

Any kind of awards received by the students , faculty or the institution , indicates about its good performance in the area of education in the society.

3. number of students graduating

The numbers of students graduating from an institution is also an indicator of its performance.

4. campus selections

various companies offer jobs to the graduating students from an educational institution .

the higher placement rate, is the indicator of the great performance by an educational institution.
