As a student of the civil engineering department, how could you benefit in the real-life professions from studying the curse of professional practices and business communication?
You will see the work of Civil Engineering where you are right now - a house , a flat in an apartment , a bunglow , a hotel , a restaurant , a bar , a tower , a theater or cinema hall , a monument , a temple-church-gurudwara-mosque, etc....It's all done by Civil Engineers through developer's, contractors, Builder's.
You will see them right after geeting from your bed - a bathroom, a kitchen , a toilet , a staircase , a dying room where plumbing and sanitary systems are provided by a civil engineer, though materials are manufactured ( required facility such as a Factory is constructed by Civil Engineer) & supplied by others. Tap water is supplied after raw water is treated in Water Treatment plants built and run by civil engineers. Similarly , wastewater let out by you is treated in sewage treatment plants to make it safe before letting out in to environment . All that's called PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING, a division of Civil Engineering.
What that comes wherever you are firstly rain water is collected in reservoirs for which dams are constructed by Civil Engineers.
When you set out of your house or anywhere , you use roads , bridges, flyovers , airport's, railways , etc all built by Civil Engineer's.
Thus in our day to day living , we will be seeing and using a lot and lot of it that couldn't have been possible without the contribution of Civil Engineering and Civil Engineer's.
It's said that "Civil Engineer's are the first to move and work at any unknown place but once the facility or infrastructure is ready , it's inaugurated by other's!
