In this project question we have to describe for John Deere the extent to which their respective organizational culture, structure, and strategy are aligned to the external environment. Basically John Deere is an American company and this organization deals in agriculture and other equipment. External environment can be defined as the factors of the environment that can affect the organization directly or indirectly. John Deere have to analyze the environmental factors of the organization which includes -
(a) Political environment,
(b) Economic environment
(c) Social environment
(d) Technological environment
(e) Ecological environment
(f) Legal environment
For the analysis of the external environment, organization have to focus on each and every aspect of these environmental factors. Basically political and legal environment of the organization deals with the rules and regulation of the country in which organization operates its business. Economic environment of the company includes the economic structure of the organization, purchasing power, and the income of the people. Company have to analyze all the parameters of these environment for the execution of the effective strategies in the organization. Culture of the particular country also plays very important role in the analysis of the external environment. Cultural factors of the organization includes norms of the society and religion of the people. These aspects affect customer behavior in various ways so it is important to understand each and every aspect of the cultural environment of the country. Because it can help the organization in winning competitive advantage. Technological aspects and new advanced technology of the country is also one of the important aspect of the external environment. So we can say that John Deer should analyze all these factors for the growth and development of the organization. Strategies of the organization should be based on the analysis of these external environmental factors.
