The purpose of this assignment is to create a Community Health Assessment. The assessment is to be created by the student – based on problems, solutions, issues, and trends that exist within a certain population. The assessment must be 5 full pages. Students will work individually on this assignment. Examples of the population chosen can be a geographic one (i.e.: Atlanta, GA) or a health issue specific one (i.e.: diabetics). Whether a geography or a health issue is chosen, the student must provide a background as to why that community of people is being chosen -- write about the problems the community faces in health and the solutions to those problems (all based on literature).

HEALTH ISSUES - DENTAL CARE

Reason for selecting the issue:

Most of the people now a days facing the issues regarding dental care. Changes in living styles, food habits, stress, not taking full care of dental issues may cause different problems with this regard. People are adicted to fast food and even they are prefering these fast foods to their childrens. Hence it affects the dental system in the human body. Becouse of their fast and mechanical work life most of the people are under stress which also causes the dental issues. People are not prefering herbals and aurvadic remedies for the dental issues. Foods habits are main issues which causes major health issues.

Reasons for the Dental Problems:

Most common reason for the dental problems are

• Hormonal shifts now a days become a major reason for dental issues. Changes in work environments, life style and food habits leads to dental problems.
• In the fast working environment people are mostly tend to skip their food at times and becouse of taking more and frequent fast food items causes nutritional deficiencies and becouse of this enough vitamins like vitablin C & B anr not suuficient to the human body. It harmful affects the gums and dental problems will arrise.
• Plaques are common and should be taken care at the early stage of the symptoms.
• Somking in another important reason for dental issues among common population.
• Bad brusing and flossing habits another very important reason for the dental problems.

Solutions to these problems:

• People must take care of their own dental issues.
• They should stay away with fast foods and sugary foods.
• Taking nutrecious foods helps people to prevent from dental problems.
• Taking advices from dental doctos is essential.
• Brushing twice a day etc;
