Answer:
Important problem associated with the school is that the method of delivering the knowledge in the school is not as per the standards that has been set by the governing boards of the school and the area in which school operates is quite noisy and creates a disturbances in the process of delivery of knowledge and learning of the students.
Six sigma project:
Project vision:
1. To standardise the method of delivering the knowledge to the students in the school.
2. To design the alternatives for the problem of sound pollution in the school premises.
Process:
In order to standardise the method of delivering the knowledge to the students in the school, the management of the school should be knowledgeable enough about the standards that has been prescribed by the school governing board. Management should then disseminate this knowledge to the faculty members and other stakeholders of the school that are directly or indirectly associated with the student development. Knowledge of the standards can be provided to them through the training and development sessions for the stakeholders. In the performance appraisal system of the faculty members, school management should include the parameters associated with the standards of the educational procedure and knowledge delivery mechanism. Faculty of the schools should be analysed on the basis of these standards while providing them with the performance appraisals.
In order to overcome the problem of sound pollution, the management of the school should communicate with the local city authority to control the traffic and noise around the school and should ask them to display several regulation sign boards in order to maintain discipline of the commuters around the school. School management should make the class sound proof by installing various sound reflecting equipments such as sound proof glass windows and doors so as to prvenet sound to enter into the classroom.
