HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY-
HISTORY OF ISLAM-
in christianity, jesus was considered as son of god who born out of virgin mary while in islam, jesus was considerd as another prophet of god just like others.the holy book of christianity is bible while islam considers quran as thier holy book.now both religions have more differences rather than having similarities but as the time goes by people made thier own rules & regulations which become traditions & are going on till now.
2. Summarize and analyze 1 specific example of a conflict between the two religions. After careful analysis of this conflict, explain why you believe the conflict existed.
the one example of conflict between the islam & christianity is that salvation of people. in islam people belive that every person must have to pay for thier own sins while in christianity, sins of every person would be pay by jesus & our sins would be removed by the grace of jesus.
this belief existed because of the old traditions & methods of salvation written in holy books & conducting by the priests of both religions. in christianity, By grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).salvation can be achieved while in islam, salvation can be achieved through good works, thus personal righteousness must outweigh personal sin (Quran 23:101-103).
