Describe how are feedforward, concurrent, and feedback controls used in a high school?

Solutions

Expert Solution

answer-

lets fisrt dicsuss about all three controls-

1-  feedforward Control-

feedback control is a type of process control strategy or method to identify and prevent problems in an organization like high school before they occur.

2- Concurrent Control-

Concurrent control is another control process in which a person identifies and preventes problems in an organization as they occur. this control works in real time manner.

3- Feedback control-

Feedback control is the control activity which occurs after the output is seen. on the basis of the output , control meausres are taken.

let's understand the uses of above controls in high school from following example-

to improve the attendence of the students, teachers can use feedforward control because they would adopt the strategies by informing students that-

  • marks of the students would be cut down if thier attendence is less than 90% in the class.
  • students should be fined for each leave unless they have valid reason for the leave.

these kind of points can be used as feedforward control measures in the high school.

second, teachers can use the concurrent control if they see any decreasing performance in the academics of the students then-

  • teachers can take surprise tests to check the level of the students in the class.
  • school can manage guest lectures, extra carricular activities to improve the academic performance of the students.

these points would inolve seeing the problem & work immediately on them in real time manner.

Third, teachers uses parent's meetings as feedback control to give the feedback of the students in the class so that parents can know the level of thier child.

teachers also provide performance reports to students to get the signatures of the parents on the reports of the sutdents as feedback control.

in this report both teacher & parents writes thier comments about the performance & behavior of the students in high school.
