The reason behind this is ICF/IID facility are meant to provide individuals with required training and guidance that are essential in order to acquire and develop skill set that is necessary to function in a less restraining or more integrating setting.
Once this objective of is attained the trained person is referred to the appropriate setting, for instance a supported living, group home, or supervised living.
