Expert Solution

Answer) So, we will use the 7ps marketing formula to develop a marketing plan.

PRODUCT.

The product which we will sell is a shaver protector . So it is a complementary product , which we have to make people understand that is important for the shavers and as shaver is a necessity item, it has a mass reach and our product will also have a mass reach but just we have to make sure that its better than our competitors.

PRICE

The price of this product will be an economical price or a price which can afforded by the general mass. As we are targeting the overall mass, we want a price which can afforded by most of the people.

PROMOTION

The most important step in marketing. Telling your customers about the new product launched, otherwise no matter how good the product is ,if people donot know about it, it will not sell. So the best Promotion for this type of product is TVs and newspapers which have a mass reach and hence many adult people could see the product.

PLACE

The next important step is where the products will be sold. The geographical location is very important as by that only we decide what type of people live their. So our target initially will be to distribute in a small area and upon the response, the distribution can be scaled up.

PACKAGING

Packaging is very important as it is the first impression which the Customers has by physically looking at the product. So here the packaging has to be very tight and strong because its a protector product and it should represent strong nature and protection.

POSITIONING

The next step is positioning. It means how one company positions its products in the minds of the Customers. We want to position our product as a compulsory buy to protect our expensive shavers and also that it is cheap, which will not impact much in their wallets and its for general use

People

The last step is people. It means that every marketing plan should be focused on preferences of the people and that after sale , a relationship should be maintained with the people by providing them good customer service and getting feedback which can be implemented for improvement.

It took some research to answer the questions If you can help me with a upvote I would really appreciate it .

THANK YOU.
