Is there an ethical problem if leaders focus more on looking like a leader than actually being one? Discuss.

Yes, a leader is generally an effective and integral part of an organization today and the organization relies a lot on the actions of a leader as well. I believe that the leader needs to be the one directing individuals to the right path and ensuring that Organizations are very much successful in the process. The leader should be concerned about what they need to do so that their responsibilities are served and not just being the formal leader.
If a leader just wants to look like a leader, he or she may play the autocratic and dominant role which may proclaim the individual as a leader but the leader may fail in the process to define leadeship abilities as well. The role of a leader is to ensure that they develop and progress create an environment of satisfaction and positive work and that is expected instead of making any other exceptions in the process. A leader will formulate the change and plan to implement the same as well or else the organization may not be fruitful in the industry.
