In today's day and age, the leader needs to be able to determine the requirement so the workforce based on their structure and not just an idea of what it takes to run a business efficiently. Past experience is necessary to deal with future difficulties but, relying on past to solve the future makes no sense at all, rather adjusting the “today” can help leaders change the “tomorrow”. With this in mind, we can say that leaders need to stop relying on their own ability to complete all the necessary tasks themselves, should stop taking away the creative freedom of the employees as well as should stop making decisions based on beliefs and arbitrary values. The leaders of today need to realize that it is the smaller things that make the bigger processes run smoothly and not the other way around. Also, there is a need to utilize as much data as possible rather than relying on just instincts in order to make better judgments and decisions regarding the different processes. Once a leader recognizes this value, they can change their idea of how it is a business structure works and therefore end up change their perspective from a process based on a people based approach. N the easiest sense, this means that they actively seek the help, role as well as the involvement of their employees in order to gain the required values that their business might be lacking in. This structure can essentially be understood as being a servant leadership or a stewardship. They need to continuously look after the welfare of their employees, their engagement, their creative freedom and their involvement in order to solve the complex problems which could only be solved form a bottom-up approach.

The biggest channeling for a leader lies in their ability to understand their own employees and their own needs as a leader to be able to create the required values which benefit the relationships in the company in order to gain the required compliance, as well as following a fixed structure without proper consideration sacrificing quality for assurance, which is what ends up killing the factor of innovation. A leader that understands this fact, recognizes these values can make the best possible use of all the present functions and processes available to them in order to create a better overall implementation of what we call a business plan. The strength a leader sees in motivation, perseverance, and empathy which is what stops them from being able to understand the required value and the employees at their workplace.
