First go to app drawer and search for Text Edit app for creating new text file and click on it to open.

This window will appear. Now click on 'New' as shown in 'File' tab and new Untitled notepad will appear.

Now change format as shown above to plain text for simple clean format.

Now type the contents in the file.

Now Press Command Button on keyboard with 'S' button and 'Save' dialog box will appear. Give the appropriate file name as "assign3.txt" and save as by clicking 'Save' shown in above pic.

If there is no filezilla app on the computer then download it from above shown webpage.Install and Open the filezilla app and above window will appear. Enter the Hostname as provided in the qustion as "electron.cs.uwindsor.ca". Provide user name and password and click on Quick Connect button in the right hand side.
