a)
How can increased CO2 in atmosphere affect the ratio of proteins and carbohydrates for humans?
B)
Discuss the hormonal regulation of germination.
c)
What properties of water help the plants with carrying it from root to the top of the tallest of the plants? What is the mechanism suggested for this transport?
Ans.a.
agricultural productivity is much unstable through climate change and global warming. We know that more co2 in atmosphere is means that more plants able to grow. And Higher Co2 level will help solve food insecurity. When plant take excess level of co2 their chemical make a change and that is a harmful to animals including humans that are dependent on plant for a nutritions. If plants grow in higher concentration of co2 area , co2 increase a Carbohydrate synthesis like a sugar and starch.and decrease a Proteins level like a vitamin B and many nutrients like iron and zinc. So human didn't get a nutritional value from that plants who are growing in a high co2 area.thus,CO2 in atmosphere affect the ratio of proteins and carbohydrates for humans
Ans.B
Hormones are very important for a plant seed germination. Hormone like a abscisic avid(ABA), Gibberellic acid(GA).,auxin and ethylin are affected onseed germination. GA break seed dormancy and promote a seed germination. Other hormones like a ethylin and cytokinin also helps to germination. ABA hormone that maintains a seed dormancy.
If seed is in a condition of a dormancy that means that in that seed, there are a level of ABA is a high. When a level of GA increase and that is higher than a ABA that breaks a dormancy of seed and promote a germination. This process id naturally but we can also do artificially.
Ans.C
cohesion, adhesion, and surface tension are a properties that help to water in the plants with carrying it from root to the top of the tallest of the plants.
Transpiration is mechanism suggested for this transport. Transpiration is a process of water movement through a plant and evaporation by a leaves, stem and flowers. Whater moves through a passive transport in a xylem. Both properties cohesion and adhesion are help to move in xylem.then moves from the xylem into the mesophyll cells, and after that molecule evaporates from their surfaces and leaves the plant by diffusion through the stomata. This entire process called transpiration.
