Expert Solution

I believe that US companies shouldn't continue this option and should focus more on globalisation only. This is because of the factor that economies are merging together and countries are growing financially and culturally. Thus, countries should integrate and get together to make sure the globalisation is having the best effects for the development of the industries and the companies.

The advantages of the globalisation through the company and having the leverage option for globalisation are as follows:

1. Availability of Resources are one of the advantages that could be tapped with the globalisation. Resources like technology, information, assets and other natural and human resources could be tapped with this globalisation.

2. Different markets could be tapped having different countries. Outsourcing enable different countries and markets to be explored, different cultures and people thus enabling making the business to diversify.

The disadvantages of the same globalisation are as follows:

1. The lack of control is one of the globalisation's disadvantages. You often dilute your control level to different units which often leads your control level to be diluted.

2. This globalisation would also require a lot of costs and time to manage in your organisation. You have to make sure you are having lots of time and management costs to make sure you are managing functional departments and duties.

Over the past several years, decommissioned U.S. warships have been turned into artificial reefs in the ocean by towing them out to sea and sinking them. The thinking was that sinking the ship would conveniently dispose of it while providing an artificial reef environment for aquatic life. In reality, some of the sunken ships have released toxins into the ocean and have been costly to decontaminate. In the late 1990s, at least two international conventions have made it all but...
