Answer :- Sultan of oman is absolute monarchy of the state. Head of the country as well as supreme commander of the army. ( minister of defense, foreign affairs, finance, prime minister) . The sultan has no political party nor legislature but has bicameral representatives which provides government it's advice. Present sultan dont have any heir and nor designated any successor. Ruling party should designate new sultan after his death and if they don't within three days. Then only letter from late sultan will be opened containing recommendation of new sultan. Oman do not allow potical parties . Hold election with expanding suffrage for a consultative assembly. Popular front for the liberation of oman was the only opposition movement against sultan. Last election was held on October 2019.
The legal system ( court) is regulated by Royal decree 90/99. Three levels in court of oman (1) elementary court which is the lowest one. (2) court of appeal (middle level) and then last one (3) supreme Court that is higest level of court in oman. There is administrative court that look on cases which are made against government itself. Populated regions is divided into 59 districts (wilayats) controlled by governors (walis) , they maintain peace, collect taxes and settle local disputes. Wais operate under ministry of interior but only exceptional case wali of Dhofar is important government officer that holds cabinet rank as the dhofar is whole province.
