Solutions

Expert Solution

The 3,2,1 disaster recovery plan is primarily for data protection, however the protection of students and staff members also becomes an important part in this disaster recovery plan.

* The plan starts with identifying the risk and threats that can be caused, which in this case could be caused to human life and Data as it is an IT school.

* Therefore it is important to keep the life of both students and staff saf, by making sure the disaster has no impact on them from disaster.

* Secondly as the 3,2,1 plan suggests, there should be at least three copies of data saved, 2 of them of them on different storage units, and 1 of them in a different storage location.

* This disaster recovery plan would always make sure the data is safe even in the worst of conditions. Having different copies and at different places reduces the risk of losing data all at once, and keeps it safe until something really worse happens. To add on one of the copies if saved on cloud could also help reduce the chances of loss to 0%.
