I am looking to see if there is a correlation between weight and high blood pressure. With this data I need to check for normality (68-95-99.7 rule) and use statistical inference such as confidence intervals for mean, hypothesis test for means, regression, ANOVA.
DATA:
High blood pressure:
1= yes and 3= no

If we compare both the boxplots, we can say that there is a difference in the groups. The second boxplot is shorter. This means that most of the people does not have high blood pressure.
From the below graph, we can say that the data is approximately normal.
We can use ANOVA test.
From this Output, we can observe that p-value 0.049 is less than 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, we can conclude that there is a difference between the groups.
