It's an open question and I have no idea what to answer, so u have any idea please feel free to answer!
The power of a statistical test analysis is defined as,
where is the
probability of type II error. A Type II error is the probability of
failing to reject the null hypothesis when the null hypothesis is
actually FALSE such that there is a 5% chance that we did not
reject a false null hypothesis.
Hence the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis when the null hypothesis is False is called power of the test which is 95% such that there is a 95% chance that we reject a false null hypothesis correctly.
In the statistical test analysis, the null hypothesis is defined as there is no increase in the readmission rate and the alternative hypothesis test the claim that the readmission rate increased significantly
Now, in this Post hoc power calculations study, we found that the power of the statistical analysis is 95% which means there is a 95% chance that the readmission rate increased significantly and we reject the null hypothesis.
