a) It is true that our main responsibility as a design engineer is to fulfill the need of our employer in a competent and professional manner that means to do work with professional ethics code of conduct and never cross those ethics codes. Like if you worked in another company before and now you work in different company producing same product and your employer wants from you to share those design input of your previous company products then you are not bound to do what your employer is saying so in professional manner means to follow all professional ethical standard and code. Answer is true.

b) False.. You need to keep good documentation for each and every work you do because these are confidential information and it should be keep safely for future projects also. So answer is false.

C) True, As a design engineer you need to be families with updated standard, codes only then you can make the drawing and print that drawing on a paper. Like welding symbols change in a few year, so in your drawing that updated symbols should be present unless manufacturers will face problem while making the product.

D) True, we as a design engineer should have deep knowledge of professional ethics as design engineer mostly works on new projects and they should have knowledge what information share with whom. So it is compulsory for a design engineer to be versed with professional ethical codes.
