Superficial spreading melanoma - It is a type of skin cancer grow on skin top layer or superficial spreading melanoma horizontally called radial growth after that move deep inisde the skin layer and enter the dermis and leads to superficial spreading melanoma and generally occur in old age male and those which are living in area where less sun light is present. Superficial spreading melanomais arises from melanocytes or pigment cells
Clinical diagnosis is done by dermoscopy as well as by skin biopsy and here generally excision biopsy is done.
The initial treatment is done by cutting cut it out; the leit out or completely excised from the top of normal tissue followed by radial excision was done to measure the edge of melanoma. some times graft or flap is applied to wound. sometimes incomplete incision is done for further radiotherapy to remove the tumor completely .
