You have just attended a meeting in which the CEO has approved a new production method that may leak poison into a river and endanger the salmon spawn. Answer:- Ethics are the principles that govern individual behaviour. It deals with decisions that matter the most while the dilemma is a state when the decision has to be made between two alternatives.

Three important factors that are affecting the decision in this ethical dilemma are:-

1) Individual factors

2) Social factors

3) Opportunity factors

1) Individual factors:- Individual factors such as honesty, knowledge, respect, goals, and caring. So while making decisions I prefer to consider these factors in accordance with my decisions and make sure to make the decisions are ethical.

2) Social factors:- Social factors such as cultural norms, friends, family affect ethical behaviour. In the corporate world, different cultures have different norms where certain behaviour can be unethical in some organization or even countries it is considered as ethical in another.

3) Opportunity factors:- An individual opportunity factor refers to the amount of flexibility that is provided when approached with an ethical decision. It can limit unethical behaviour through a code of conduct, rules, and regulations that are properly implemented.
