Expert Solution

The following are the waste removal/disposal methods that can be used in the process industry:

1. Using Landfills: All the non-hazarodus,non-renewable and non-compostable wastes are sent to the landfills so that the wastes are compacted in a particular area(landfills). When the waste decomposes ,it releases sufficient amount of gases which can be further used as power and fuels.

2.Segregation and recycling of wastes: All those wastes which are non-usable or compostable but recyclable can be segregated and reused again for further uses.Scrab metal recycling is used in a large amount across the world.

3.Composting: This method includes decomposition of organic wastes by microorganism so as to allow the waste material to get accumulate in a pit which ultimately results in improving the fertility of the soil.

4.Incineration:It converts the waste material by combustion of the wastes and thereby converting into base components and trapping the released heat to produce and store sufficient amount of heat energy.

5. Reduce waste generation:Lat but not the least, we have to minimise our daily waste generation.Inspite of buying a new material, if we are capable of using second hand product then we can minimise our natural resources.Various disposal techniques have some negative impacts on our eco-system also.So we should try to minimise our waste generation rate.
