How to calculate the variance in a pie chart?
Pie Chart is a statistical graph, which is divided into multiple parts or slices. Each part of the graph represents numerical proportion of different categories.Total percentage of a pie chart is 100% and the arc measure 360 degree as it is a cicular graph.
To find variance of a pie chart we can follow the below mentioned steps:
I'm explaining this with the following example,
Consider , the following pie chart , having 4 parts A,B,C,D. Here we have measured the percentages using (P) = (A\360)*100
As, described above we can find variance from pie chart very easily.
